Skyport Aviation hosted a highly successful and heartwarming holiday event on December 13th, bringing the community together to spread cheer and support local needy children. The event, held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, allows guests to drop off toys or donations while enjoying a festive social hour filled with small plates, finger foods, and delectable desserts.
The initiative aimed to gather unwrapped gifts suitable for boys and girls aged 7 to 17. Donations directly benefited A Kid’s Place, a local organization that provides a safe, nurturing environment for 53 children who have been removed from their homes due to challenging circumstances.
The response was overwhelming, with attendees coming together to make the holidays brighter for these children. Skyport Aviation’s dedication to fostering community and giving back truly shone through this event.
The toy collection drive officially concluded at 2:30 PM, with a remarkable array of gifts and donations ready to be delivered to “A Kid’s Place.” This event highlighted the power of community spirit during the holiday season, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.
