Line Technician
Job Description
As a Line Service Technician for Skyport Aviation, your responsibilities are as follows, but are NOT limited to:
- Baggage and Cargo handling
- Refueling of aircraft (light pistons to corporate aircraft)
- Refueling of fuel trucks and company vehicles
- Aircraft marshaling, towing and parking
- Aircraft servicing (lav, GPU, potable water, oil)
- Aircraft cleaning (windows, cabin, exterior)
- Quality control on fuel
- GSE preventative maintenance
- Maintaining cleanliness of hangars and restrooms
- Minor building maintenance and upkeep (changing light bulbs, painting, etc.)
ALL employees of Skyport Aviation, must possess the following:
Skills and Knowledge
- Detail oriented, with attention to detail.
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
- Adequate operating capability of computer and database systems
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Physical and Personal Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally allowed to work in the U.S.

- Ability to work rotating schedules, including potential weekend, night and holiday shifts.

Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Job Description
Skyport Aviation is a Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) that caters to a large variety of customers. Our clientele ranges from privately owned aircraft to large jet traffic on a daily basis. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to support administrative and sales activities within the company. While a background in aviation would be a plus, it is not necessary for this position.
Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited To:
- Making Reservations
- Conducting Professional Customer Service
- Greeting All Aircraft upon Arrival
- Escorting Passengers To/From Aircraft
- Answer Inquiries Regarding General Travel Information
- Answering Phones, monitoring Unicom for aircraft
- Assisting with Car Rental/Hotel Arrangements
- Maintaining General Cleanliness of FBO
- Honor Customer Confidentiality
- Communicating Effectively to Line-Employees

GENERAL MANAGER
Job Description
Skyport Aviation is currently seeking qualified candidates to apply for the General Manager position at Hawkins Field Airport (HKS).
The FBO General Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe and professional operation of the Airport Authority’s FBO facility, under the guidance of the Director of Airport Operations/Projects. They are also tasked with providing excellent customer service to all customers and guests. This role requires advanced skills in business management, finance, marketing, and technical knowledge to effectively manage and expand the airport’s general aviation business. Additionally, the FBO General Manager is responsible for supervising the commercial fueling operation. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills are necessary to lead the experienced line crew and other FBO team members in delivering high-quality products and services to various aviation customers. This senior management position requires strategic planning abilities, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1. Assumes direct management, operational oversight, and accountability for the general aviation terminal and flight support operations at Hawkins Field airport.
- 2. Cultivates and fosters a culture that prioritizes safety, transparency, and fosters a positive and collaborative team environment.
- 3. Exhibits leadership and provides guidance in delivering exceptional customer service.
- 4. Supervises all aspects of flight support operations, encompassing line service, customer service, fuel procurement, distribution, and sales. Additionally, oversees new business development, quality assurance, staff training, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.
- 5. Takes responsibility for the secure operation and maintenance of the airport’s fuel farm, as well as the fleet of Jet A and Avgas fuel trucks.
- 6. Ensures that all aircraft fueling operations adhere to FAA regulations and airline standards.
- 7. Conducts interviews, hires, trains, and nurtures the professional growth of FBO employees, while also implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- 8. Develops the FBO’s budget, effectively managing costs, service levels, and productivity.
- 9. Assists in the formulation of marketing strategies, programs, and materials. Represents the Airport Authority at trade shows and professional organizations, actively advocating for General Aviation.
- 10. Conducts regular market analysis to evaluate pricing, products, and services.
- 11. Regularly engages with customers and airport businesses to gauge satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for process and service enhancements.
- 12. Collaborates with the Director of Airport Operations/Projects and FBO staff in the strategic planning of long-term projects and objectives.

Salary: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
